Hi, I'm Ankit Singh 👋

Software Development Engineer at Siemens with 11+ years of building backend systems in Java. Javaverse is where I slow down, dig into how things really work, and write it down.

Javaverse is my notebook for the parts of software engineering that do not fit into a quick answer. The questions that only show up after the tutorial ends: why a framework behaves the way it does, what a design decision costs two years later, and what actually happens when clean code meets real traffic.

Java is home. Quarkus and Spring are the tools I reach for most. But the scope is wider than any single framework: system design, cloud-native architecture, developer productivity, and the fast-moving world of AI-assisted software development all find their way in here.

Who I am

I'm a Software Development Engineer currently working at Siemens. Over the last 11+ years I have designed, built, debugged and maintained software across many layers: REST APIs, microservices, integrations and the plumbing that keeps all of it running.

Those years taught me that the most interesting problems are rarely about syntax. They are about trade-offs, boundaries and the assumptions nobody wrote down. That is the kind of engineering I enjoy most, and the kind I write about.

How I work

I use AI tools openly. They help me explore unfamiliar APIs, prototype quickly, challenge my reasoning and tighten drafts. What they do not do is decide what gets published. I run the code, verify the claims and apply my own experience before anything goes live. If my name is on it, I stand behind it.

What you'll find here

  • Core Java & JVM
  • Quarkus
  • Spring Boot
  • Architecture & System Design
  • Microservices
  • AI in Software Engineering
  • Experiments

Hands-on guides, framework internals, honest comparisons from real usage, and small experiments built just to see what happens. Most articles come with working code on my GitHub.

Why Javaverse

Our industry is loud. New frameworks, new models and new "this changes everything" claims arrive every week. I would rather pick one idea, build something with it, break it, and come back with an honest answer about what is really there. Fewer topics, deeper understanding, working code.

Everything here is my personal work and opinion and does not represent Siemens or any other organization I am associated with.

Keep exploring. Keep building. Welcome to the Javaverse.
